It is about a boy who faces his fears when he moves into what seems to be the perfect neighborhood only to find out it's more of a nightmare. This play is perfect for this day because it was written by R. L Stine, who is one of the most popular authors in America for his Goosebumps series. The play begins when a boy named Zach moves into the neighborhood made up of schoolhouses and auditoriums. He finds out that nothing is as it seems and he soon finds himself in over his head with the bullies and other people around him. The rest of the story is filled with scary situations such as monsters and ghosts. At the beginning of the play, Zach moves into his new neighborhood which is supposedly haunted by a monster. He finds out that there is more to the town than meets the eye by talking with Skylar, who is one of his neighbors. As he tries to get used to school, he finds out even more about the town. Skylar tells him that there are different worlds in Collingwood besides this one and how their friend was sucked into another world while trying to get her dog back. Zach ends up getting involved with two boys named Devlin and Damon who are not that nice after all. They are bullies at school and are even worse at home by making rude comments about their parents including calling them mean names. The next day, Zach ends up meeting the monster which haunts the town. He thinks that it is just another one of its tricks, but when things start to get worse, he realizes it is real. He ends up learning more about the monster while trying to find out his purpose for being there and what will happen while he has not found it yet. He also learns about his missing dog and how everyone in the town seems to be scared of him. Zach spends most of his time with Devlin and Damon who think that they are better than everyone else even though they are bullies at school. They decide to play a prank on the monster by trying to scare it with false teeth and masks. What they do not know is that the monster has been watching them and has powers that enable him to read their minds. Before he can do anything, he gets locked up in his book which was the one Devlin decided to take from his house. That is when things start getting really bad for everyone in town as the others try to rob money from banks and smash cars. All of this happens even though Zach tries hard to stop them, but cannot seem to do much without help from the other people in the town. cfa1e77820
